Honestly, Switzerland is not in my initial travel plans. Cities like Geneva, Bern, Basel, Zurich don't interest me much. This is because I have skipped an important and unique part of Switzerland which is the beauty of the rivers, mountains, lakes and fields in the countryside.
Fortunately, the photos and videos of Switzerland on Instagram changed my mind and brought me to the decision to put into my plan a beautiful Swiss countryside which is covered with snow mountain, colorful coniferous forests, emerald green lakes, grasslands and sprawling valleys. Very peaceful and beautiful!
This trip was by far the most beautiful trip I've taken in Europe, even though it was outside of my original plan.

Switzerland welcomed me with a natural beauty and satisfying man-made service. The trains moved slowly so that I could see the villages, lakes and forests stretching along the way. Swiss train was very spacious, clean and very comfortable to sit on.

When I got to the last station, I was surprised because there weren't too many tourists. Perhaps it was a luck for me to be able to enjoy the peaceful beauty of Grindelwald.

A peaceful scene appeared in front of my eyes.

These are Swiss traditional houses which are made of wood. There is nothing more peaceful and wonderful than this: a warm house on a hill with a small garden overlooking a green valley and a snowy mountain.

I had to climb a hill to get to my booking.

Finally got into my booking place, a cozy room with full furniture and a dreamy view of the valley.

A cup of coffee would be perfect for this moment!

I didn’t know where to go to visit next because any place here can be considered as a tourist attraction. So I decided to walk freely around the hill. The more I walk, the more I see how beautiful Switzerland is.

How to describe this beauty? Peace and green.

My other luck was that the tour was in the autumn season. Thanks to that, I could enjoy more colors of this beauty.

And more beauty…

Those speechless beauty is very hard to describe for me.

During the trip, the sound I heard most was the jingle of bells hanging on the necks of sheep and cows. These are also two of my favorite animals because of the relevance with my favorite childhood game, Harvest Moon. If you have ever played Harvest Moon, you will feel that this village is a real-life version of the friendly and peaceful Mineral Town in the game.

The scene on the way back was strange when the sunset behind the mountain left a picture with a half light and a half dark.

I didn’t want to stop my trip even I got to the booking place.Standing here watching the sunset until the dark, I saw sunset's orange light on the mountain making it look like a volcano. Or it looks like a giant chocolate cake with milk on the top?
