The next journey on my trip in Switzerland is the Jungfraujoch, which is the way to the top of Jungfrau Mountain and is the highest railway in Europe (that’s why it’s called “Top of Europe”). This trip was very special for me because it was my first time seeing, walking on and touching the real (natural) snow.

I woke up early to see yesterday's wonderful green valley view, but what I saw was a "white" valley covered with snow.

What a cold weather. What could be better than enjoying a hot instant noodle at this moment. The cup of noodles that day was extremely delicious thanks to the weather and the wonderful scene in front of me.

Ok Let’s go. This was also the first time I had to wear cold gloves and snow shoes. Things were a bit cumbersome for the first time.

The time to the top of Jungfrau by cable car was very long. From here I could see the white snow fields and other valleys of this area. Very magnificent!

After the cable car, I continue to the top by using the railway (Jungfraubahn). A typical train with the red color of Switzerland. It seems that the railway through the mountains is the pride of Swiss when I see a lot of souvenirs and pictures of this train.

The snow-covered Jungfrau peak with the flying Switzerland’s square flag was a grandeur.

The top of the mountain was covered with white snow, which looks like cream on a cake.

Here is it. Snow. This was the first time I touch it. This is the same with what I see in the freezer of the fridge. It is also similar to the shaved ice that our 9x generations of Vietnam used to eat during childhood.

I always feel scared and sweaty when I stand at heights with visible underneath like this.

Standing here looking up at the Jungfrau peak, I could imagine how hard it could be to build these stations.

I was surprised that there were so many crows on this high and cold mountain. I also didn’t know how they could suffer the cold with that thin feather when I had to wear 3 layers of shirts.

My eyes felt extremely burning and uncomfortable when standing here. I couldn't open my eyes completely and had to wear my friend’s sunglasses for a while. When I closed my eyes and opened again, I saw everything as a colorful light in the disco within seconds. Maybe this is the effect of solar radiation in the height???

The feeling of walking on snow was not as soft and smooth as I thought it would be. Snow was very hard and rough. Walking in the snow gave me goosebumps.

This was also the first time I created a snowball (or a snow-something).

There is a great work has been done to build structures on this craggy and snow-covered cliff.

This is not a valley but a frozen river located on the Jungfrau.

From here I could enjoy a panorama view of a vast mountainous area.

There is a museum inside the mountain to describe the construction process as well as honor those who contributed to this work.

Roger Federer used to… tennis on this peak?!

I love the souvenirs here. Most of them are handmade farm dogs, cows and sheep. Of course, the Swiss Army Knives from Victorinox must be here.
